Applied Science Online Degree Completion Information

To be admitted to the online degree completion option of the Applied Science degree, you must have 64 hours of University of Nebraska accepted college credit, including the following foundational math and science courses on your transcript:

  • 5 credit hours of math above college algebra
  • 2 semesters general chemistry
  • 1 semester biology with laboratory
  • 1 semester physics
If you do not have these courses, we can work with you to find appropriate courses to complete the requirements that will allow you to be accepted into the Applied Science online degree completion option. You can send transcripts for review by the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources BEFORE you apply for admission to the university. Send transcripts to:

Online Degree Program Coordinator
103 Agriculture Hall
College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources
University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Lincoln, NE 68583-0702

After you apply you may receive a letter stating that you are admitted into the University of Nebraska. However, be aware that you are not accepted into the Applied Science online degree completion program until the transfer specialist has reviewed your transcripts and you receive a letter from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources confirming your acceptance to the online degree program.
