Applied Science, From the Individual to the Biosphere...

The Program

The Bachelor of Science in Applied Science degree program prepares students for occupations that involve the application of science in society. It teaches an integrated understanding of how basic and applied science benefit and impact us, from the individual to the biosphere.

Applied Science is one of the most flexible degrees on campus - students choose over 50% of the courses that they take, and the area of specialization (Agricultural Systems or Integrative Systems) within the degree.

Here are the program details:
  • Minimum 128 total credit hours
  • 30 credit hours must be in courses numbered 299 and above, and a minimum of 15 hours must be completed at the 300 level or above.
  • Two tracks in the major: Integrative Systems and Agricultural Systems. Both tracks take the same core courses.
